About Me

My journey to becoming a counsellor
“There is a season for everything under the sun—even when we can’t see the sun.”
― Jared Brock

Appreciating the therapeutic support that I have had in seasons when I have not been able to see the sun, as well as a lifelong desire to care for and support others in their lives, drew me to train to be a counsellor. My training built on my life experiences and professional experiences in education, the charitable sector and industry, both overseas and in the UK.

Experience and Qualifications
As a counsellor, I tailor my approach to each person’s needs, to support each person processing their experiences and finding their unique way forward. I have supported adults for a number of years in Community Counselling services, BUPA and in Private Practice. In private practice, I currently work in person in Horsham and Haywards Heath working with people in West Sussex, Surrey and work remotely on Zoom with people across the UK and living outside of the UK.

I am an Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) with a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling awarded by The Counselling Centre in Tunbridge Wells. I have ongoing training and work to the BACP's Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and Professional Conduct Procedures.
